Mike,

Admittedly I am jumping into the middle of this thread and have not caught
the rationale for running in emulation mode (I can make a guess or 2!), but
IMO you'll have even better performance if you run BootCamp/XP or
BootCamp/Win7. I've done so with my Flex-3000, finally burying the Mini when
I decided to run the DXLabs suite also. If you get to that point, talk with
Neal about a PC that can do the job. Although I love my Macs, there did come
a point where I had to find a better platform for what I wanted to do.

If you don't get carried away with more software that needs to run under
Windows, the Mini will stand you in good stead. Enjoy!

This is an update on my quest to allow PowerSDR to operate my Flex-1500
in EMULATION mode on my Mac Mini.

At Neal's suggestion, I downloaded and ran an application that would
show me the status of the USB bus; This application is called USBView.
I downloaded and ran this application in my VMWare Fusion installation
of Windows XP.
