I remember fondly when FRS would release the
latest alpha late Friday afternoon and we
would discuss our experiences on TeamSpeak
that evening. I recall once, five years ago,
when a bug was mentioned on TeamSpeak and
FRS had a new alpha available for download
in less than one hour. What exciting times.
I understand that FRS has to change modes
because of those who now demand that their
favorite enhancement must be done right away,
those who want to turn Gerald's estimates
into hard commitment dates, those who cannot
comprehend the alpha code concept, and those
who rip PowerSDR without following the terms.
I can imagine the frustration of not being
able to work on Deep Impact due to the shouts
of the demanders.
I appreciate that my trusty SDR-1000 still
gets enhancements. Thanks so much.
