" I tried the hitting the "Shift" "CTRL" "P" and run the 5000 through its test

You are going to need FlexRadio support and possibly repair assistance. The
radio may be damaged (blown bridge diodes or 160/80 TX filters) and at least it
needs a full factory calibration. Failing the tests mentioned above is not a
good sign.

Since you purchased the radio second-hand, in order to get support you are
going to need a Warranty Transfer and Support Services Agreement for
Non-original Owners. You can purchase this from the Online Store (see misc
items) http://www.flex-radio.com/OnlineOrdering.aspx

Or if the original warranty period on the radio has expired, you can just
contact service and repair
(http://www.flex-radio.com/Support.aspx?topic=service) and send it in for an
overhaul and not purchase the Warranty Transfer and Support Services Agreement
for Non-original Owners. You can tell approximately how old the radio is by
looking at the first 4 digits of the serial number. Example if the first 4
digits are 2307 it was manufactured in the 23 week of 2007.

Subject: [FlexEdge] PWR-SDR SWR 50.1

Okay here is a head scratcher for me.

My uncle picked up a Flex5000 from someone in Florida. It seem okay on all
band so far all but 75 and 160 meter.

We put this on a 50 ohm dummy load and the external SWR/Watt Meter show 1.2 swr
on 160 meter but PowerSDR shows 50 to 1. Even the red SWR comes on the screen.
The radio is putting out 100 watts.

Has anyone else come across this? Does anyone know the fix? I tried the
hitting the "Shift" "CTRL" "P" and run the 5000 through its test and it failed
miserably.

Thank you,
Ken
