I commented in December about CPU spikes on one virtualised core of an i7, re:
above driver. With my mind on many other things over the last months I failed
to notice if any changes had occurred and have just observed that the system is
indeed still behaving the same way: core 4 of 8 is cycling from 0% to 50-60%
and back every 4-5s and this is on driver v.3.5.2.8028.

Just as a refresher, I'm running an i7 920 O/c to 4GHz, 12GB RAM, SSD, main
board is a P6TD OC Palm and the Firewire is onboard.

The moment the Flex is powered off the spike stops and returns when the Flex is
powered on. It doesn't matter whether PowerSDR is running or not. Overall it
doesn't appear to detract from the rig's performance but I get some hellish
DPC's (60,000uS+) when a file dialog is used for the first time in any program
(only the first time, mind you).
