So PowerSDR 1.18.6 can talk to the parallel port on a windows 7/32 machine for controlling an sdr-1000?

I seem to have gotten the wrong idea somewhere.

Thanks,

Richard,

You will need a LPT PCI or PCIe or a mother board with a LPT port built in.. The only USB to parallel adapter that works with the SDR-1000 was one that Flex sold and it is only usable in XP there is not a Win7 driver.

Due to the LPT port problem with 64 bit, you can only use it on Win7/32.

Hope this helps.

Anyone running sdr-1000 with Windows 7 and latest psdr version 1?

I donated my two 1000's to a worthy cause and he's having problems getting it going.
