Jim

I have been using Minideluxe and DM780 with 2.0.8 since 2.0.8 came out and I
have not experienced the CAT delays you are seeing.

However, when using DDUtil the CAT connection will sometimes drop for no
apparent reason -- the DDUtil problems came up for me at 2.0.5 or so.

I'm using windows 7/64 Pro, VSP Manager 1.0.1.017, Minideluxe
1.0.3728.21215, DM780/Logger Beta 5 Build 2636.

Not anymore. When the BobSmeter was released, I used DDutil to semnd CAT to
the meter, and HRD/DM780. I then started hanging other programs off DDutil,
like fldigi and CWSkimmer. After 2.0.8, I stopped all that tomfoolery, and
just ran straight to HRD/DM780 from PSDR. I couldn't get minideluxe
working without throwing off the error that has already been reported here.

I've been embarrassed by "dead air" during PSK QSO's with the DM780 delays,
so I just switched to fldigi (reluctantly).

Ah, the toils of the beta tester!
