Technically for digital modes, you don't actually have to transfer the audio to the remote computer since you are technically modulating and demodulating using Fldigi, so the setup is simpler since you do not have to do VoIP.
There are a few articles explaining how to do this for voice in the KB. Just do simple keyword searches for the articles. CW is more tricky due to the propagation delay and using a key or keyer is even more problematic.
