Paul:

There could be several sources of clicks or pops on the FLEX-1500.
BUT, if they are not coming out the speaker jack on the 1500, then
it does not sound like the pops are coming from either the PowerSDR
software or the FLEX-1500 hardware.

I don't understand your reference to audio coming in to MixW
over USB.

Could you please describe your system, and in particular, what software
is used to get the audio onto and off the USB cable you are referring to.

Normally, I would expect MixW to be running on the same computer
as PowerSDR, and those to be connected by VAC. No real cables,
USB or otherwise need be involved.

If that is what you mean, or VAC is involved in any way, then make sure
you have the paid-for version of VAC, because the free version deliberately
does inject noise bursts into the (virtual) cables as an inducement for you
to buy the paid version.
