Kevin,

You might want to temperarily move your new com port between PowerSDR and
DDUtil to make sure that it is passing data through it..   I have found that
some times the new virtual ports are really not communicating,  and you have
to delete and recreate the ports,  at least swapping ports you know that one
 is working..
