As far as I am aware, the only new default settings that would be lost by
using SDRDataTransfer to transfer settings from an old database are Tim's
spiffy new default filter settings for DIGL & DIGU.  To avoid losing them, a
user merely needs to use SDRDataTransfer to transfer settings by category &
not select the "Filters" category.

The filter settings are in the "Options" table.  So, if they were
transferring data by table, then they would have to de-select the Options
table.  But then, they would lose all of the other settings stored in that
table, which are many.  It is far better to transfer by category.
