Dudley also please pass the old ALC overshoot issue or what ever you want to 
call it on to Bob. All 2.0 versions are better verses the 1.18 & lower versions 
of SDR but it is still there and noticeable on low drive amps & not good for 
solid state amps.

I do watch the ALC very closely & never see higher than -5. 

Watching 3 watt meters & a scope I can be showing 1200 or so out then every so 
often I will see a 1600 - 1800
Spike.

I can drive my Acom 2000a with 45 watts on 3 other non Flex rigs here and stay 
just shy of 1500 out.

With the 5000a I have to use as low as 
17 watts to keep from spiking above 1500 every so often.

I don't know how often this is reported but several privately tell me the same 
thing.
