No. Alpha and beta features are not usually placed in the KB because of the
dynamic nature of their stability and operation. The use and operation of such
features are discussed on this reflector.

For accessing the diversity form, you use the key sequence [alt]+[ctrl]+ R.
Once it is accessed, you need to click on the ENABLE and SYNC buttons. Then
move the green "BB" around the bull's-eye to change the phase and gain to
either null noise or enhance the signal of interest.

Also, for the best results, you must have a separate antenna for RX2 and it is
preferred that the second antenna be polarity and wavelength diverse.

Is there a knowledge base article that tells me how to use this alpha feature?

If you have an RX2, the best solution is to use synchronous diversity to null
the noise. Granted it is an alpha feature, but it does work in manual mode and
it costs nothing.

Subject: [FlexEdge] MFJ 1026 Noise cancelling device and the F5K

Has anyone used the MFJ 1026 with the F5K. If so, how do you interface it, and
will it affect the operation of RX2? It looks to me to be the best solution to
use with the F5K.

I have heavy line and other local noise at the new QTH and would like to
eliminate it. I understand that with this device, and a "noise antenna", that
I can vary the phase of the output signal and effectively cancel out a good
portion of the local noise.
