I am looking for a really cheap hand mic to use with the 1500 and 3000. Does anyone have any suggestions? The cheapest thing I have found is the MFJ-290MY but was unable to verify the wiring/pinout. (No on-line doc.)
Ordinarily I would wire my own but getting the wiring crimped on the 8-pin modular plug can be a challenge with the stranded wire used in most mic cables. So I am looking for advice either way -- buying or wiring.
