Has any one paralleled the 10MHZ both into the Flex and PTS160?
Use one of the TV antenna splitters. You can get them with 2,3,4...
outputs, with corresponding losses. The typical output from a Trimble
Thunderbolt needs to be cut by several dB anyway to service a Flex
5000, so it all works FB.
That's a good (& cheap) idea. Don't worry about it being a 75ohm device,
so long as all ports are loaded with 50ohms you should still get the
isolation.
I have a HP Z3801 as the main shack reference, and a homebrew 4-port
driver amp. To save time I did connect a couple of my counters together
with a BNC T just as a 'temporary' measure. That worked fine and is
still in use after several years. I agree with earlier comment that I
would NOT want to do that with the FLEX reference as there could well be
some crud leaking in from the synth.
