What version of software are you using? Did you by chance change the DDS IF to 0 Hz?

As I tune up in freq . great. As I tune down in freq, this signal must come into the passband as I tune and so I "beeps" as the signal keeps moving and I keep tuning through it. Makes identifying weak signals impossible while tuning down. Explanation?
