The FM audio/Squelch problem is a known issue that will be fixed in the next

Subject: [FlexEdge] No Audio on FM

Have problems with squelch on FM
Using a Flex-1500 (new addition to the shack here), RC1 v2.1, 6 core 6Gb ram PC
system

Initially I could get no audio out on FM, and had toi attempt to listen on AM
or DSB After changing the squelch from 100 on DSB to a lower level, I switched
back to FM and audio came on and the squelch worked

To replicate;
Select dsb, set squelch to 100 (default setting) Select FM - no audio and no
apparent change when squelch is changed Select DSB, change squelch to a lower
level within the 'green' audio dignal Select FM and squelch works

Also I noticed if you select RX only in the XVTR section, you cannot change the
FM deviation, whilst logical, the deviation filter width is used on RX, and
should be changed depending which VFH or UHF band is being used even if you use
RX converters and don't wish to transmit
