Made my FIRST 6 meter ISCAT mode qso this am.
The new ISCAT mode for 6 meter meteor and tropo system protocol is to
call cq on 50.260, listen for replies on a different frequency, say
50.257 and if you get a reply, to switch and now transmit on .257.
Sort of like HF DX split, but both stations continue the qso on the
split 'listening' frequency.
This could work great with dual receivers although I need to figure out
how to NOT combine the audio going to the WSPR/ISCAT decodeing program's
input.
