I will second that.  I would love to see this running on Linux, but then
all of the guys at Flex have been aware of that for years.

It looks like dttsp could be broken out of the equation and communicate
with the display and other routines over the network or network sockets.
It may be that Frank and Bob have already done some investigating
implementing that in Erlang or some other language that would be able to
better distribute the tasks for the SDR routines.


The firewire interface taking the blame now for not having it running on
Linux is a pretty flimsy excuse.  I was able to get that out of the way
a couple of years ago.  

That said, with the way the code is written around .net it will be a
substantial job to port it to other platforms.  I am not familiar with
Windows .Net programming, or the mono development platform, so that is a
bit of a hurdle.
