Hi,
I thought I'd mention which firewire card I purchased for my wife's new
Inspiron 620 with Windows 7 home premium.
There was no special device drivers to load - windows 7 recognized the
card and everything worked ok.
I tried the latest card from SYBA, the PEX30016 which I purchased from
Newegg.com
Using the 1394a connection on the card, PowerSDR and Flex 5000a seemed
to work fine.
It was mainly a RX test. The guy calling CQ couldn't hear me.
I don't usually use my wife's computer for radio work, but I like
knowing it is equipped to do so.
