Once you get the driver loaded you may encounter another issue related to com 
port conflicts - which won't be obvious as the flex control will just not work.

Once you get things working, take note of which USB port you used as plugging 
the control into a different USB port will not work without doing some 
additional work.

After you use the control for some time you may notice that it will not tune 
beyond certain frequencies outside the amateur band - I experienced this while 
doing some SWL - the mouse on the pan will let you continue beyond where the 
flex control stops tuning.  This is a known issue.
