I have a pair of 4CX50000A final tubes that are a direct replacement for the finals in the F5K. These finals will allow you to run 750KW on the sixty meter band. I also have the corresponding ac generator to power your F5K and an RF proof safety cage where you should sit when operating. These parts were used just once, by the late Friedman Fizzle, whose call I cannot re-call.
The big advantage of these finals is that you also put out signals simultaneously on all bands up thru 900mhz including the cable tv channels too! Listen on any frequency on any band and someone will be calling you! The F5K, when using these tubes, generates signals of the same quality as the WW II surplus AN/ART13. Interestingly enough, when setting the F5K to QRP, when using these finals, you will be putting out just 1/100th power, a mere .75Kw....barely enough to work everyone you hear. George K2CM ( who had an AN/ART13 once that produced TVI even when turned off.)
