Hello, I have a F5K. I would like to set a maximum output power per band (and mode) to match my linear.
I see that the transverter page and DDUTIL both have places to enter the max power; however, all those entries seem to do is set the power as opposed to limit the power. I would like to be able to set a max power and not be able to go above that level until I change the entry. With both the PSDR page and DDUTIL, once you change to a band and the power is set, you can move the power level slider up and increase the power. Because the F5K has no external ALC, if the power level accidentally gets increased it could be fatal to amps like the ICOM PW1. The options in DDUTIL seem perfect if they would actually limit the power. Any ideas?
