Rick,

The bands of interest for us are 6m, 4m (EU), 2m and 70MHz as an IF.
Between 71MHz and 140ish, there is the FM broadcast band that we would
like to filter out to avoid an overload in case you live near an FM
station. The rest -- the frequencies we ended up with -- are largely just
a function of the filters that were readily available without having to do
something custom. The receiver and transmitter are capable in between,
absent the filters. In fact, FM broadcast is strong enough you will likely
be able to receive it even though the filter has significant attenuation
there.
