There was an earlier email from Eric Waxman  that stated that the 6700 has 2 
meter transmit capability at 0dbm power.

"[Eric] Only the 6700 will support 2m without external transverters.  The
output is 0dBm nominal.  The brochure is somewhat confusing on this and
we'll clarify this on the spec table."

The brochure on the flex website is pretty clear: 6500 does not have
2m. But even the 6700 is rx only on 2, and with unknown sensitivity
