This will be no different than running powerSDR and some other program
that uses the internet and does display on the computer at the same
time.  I say 99.99% that it will work on all computers that do not
have major problems (excessive DPC's caused by NIC's or firewire or
other misbehaving devices stopping the firewire driver).
