These radios are flexible (pun intended) in their application. They are
for multi-multi or single operator contesting, DX chasing, local and remote
operation, rag chewing, CW QSK and non-QSK, digital modes, ESSB and
non-ESSB, transverter operation, broadcast quality AM, FM repeaters, VLF,
and a bunch more.

On Rob Sherwoods Receiver Test Data list, the FLEX-5000 is in the top three
performing amateur transceivers of all time. Both the FLEX-3000 and
FLEX-1500 are in the top ten. We expect the Signature Series to come in at
least 10 dB above the top of his list at >110 dB at narrow spacing. We
expect phase noise at a 10 KHz offset to be in the neighborhood of -147
dBc/Hz.
