I believe that it was Gerald who suggested that I check the task manager in my computer and remove all unnecessary processes.
Well, I finally did that with my new W7 system and that solved the problems. I no longer experience any latency issues on CW with the F1.5K. Its also interesting that I can work about 90% of the stations that I hear with only 5W on cw. The extra power that I get with the F5K doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. I think I'll use the F1.5K on FD at the club shack.
