FYI..... My Laptop which, includes a Qualcomm WiFi device with an Atheros driver, has always shown DPC's into 4000-5000 usec range repeated at 60 second intervals until I installed the Win8 upgrade ( from Win7 ). It seems that MS included a newer Atheros WiFi driver. I had never been able to find a driver update on the Atheros website. In exchange for that, I now have ACPI spikes to 1000usec at 10 second intervals (any ideas ? ) AL, K0VM _______________________________________________ Flexedge mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexedge_flex-radio.biz This is the FlexRadio Systems e-mail Reflector called FlexEdge.
