I can confirm the same with VSPE. Its a worthwhile piece of 64 bit code worth the $'s.

Not only does it work, but when installed as a service it just stays there and you can forget about it. You can stop the service and experiment with the non-service part to change/improve the configuration file and the re-start the serve. Since it doesn't mind multiple applications opening the same com port you don't get hurt by programs that are too lazy to release a port when they go away! On top of that it has a pile of features that I am still experimenting with! In summary - the BEST $25 I ever spent! (Not including first date with XYL)!
