[Flexradio] SDR1000 to M-Audio Delta 44 connections

Holiday greetings to everyone, I have just ordered the SDR1000 board set with plans to incorporate it into a quasi-homebrew rig. One goal of this project is to build everything possible into one box with a minimum of external gadgets and boxes. To that end I want to put a DB15 on the back of the rig to connect to the sound card and then connect from the DB15 directly to the SDR1000. I have read the set up instructions for the Delta 44 card and have questions about what exactly is going on there. Are the 1/4" plugs 2 or 3 conductor types (they appear to be 2 conductor in the photo)? Can anyone describe, exactly the connections to be made? In other words outputs 3 and 4 go to the line out on the radio, does the tip of one go to the tip of 3 and the ring then go to the tip of 4? Has anyone already reverse engineered the breakout box?
