Sid,

Because the Delta 44 does not run the output through the radio, you
don't have to worry about dragging the output low with unamplified
speakers. However, to get the most out of this radio, it pays to have
something other than cheap, passive PC speaker (you know, the ones that
crackle when you turn it up to 3 on the dial that goes to 10).

I have Altec Lansing ACS33's on my desk. We demo them at shows and they
get the job done. Any similar system will work fine.

Hi all,

I am new to the list & eagerly awaiting the SDR in the mail. I'm sure
that I will have many questions, as I'm not into software generation.

I remember a comment that a powered speaker is required. I will be
using the recommended Audio card, Delta 44. What speakers are
recommended?? I already have L/R & Bass for the computer. Do I need a
unique self powered/amplified unit??

Thanks for your help
