We have an impulse generator on the RFE board. We will just measure it
and convolve it with the bandpass filter for the mode, giving up a few
taps to the bandpass filter and making it M and allow L taps for the
(complex) impulse response. L+M = 2^N + 1. Where 2^N is one of our
allowed filter sizes (dsp block size). It has been on our agenda for a
while. It really does need to bubble to the top.
