I strongly agree with Jim's sentiments. The, usually, civil discourse on this list is in the best traditions of good taste and good amateur practice, something sorely missing in society as a whole today and on certain segments of 75 meters as well.
The outstanding exchanges on this list is THE PRIMARY REASON I bought an SDR-1000. Not only is it an exceptional value to we owners it is a substantial business asset of Flex-Radio. If necessary to keep it from spiraling downward to uselessness then it should become a moderated list and the moderator should have NO tolerance for flaming. 73 Ed K5RJI On 8/23/06, Ross Stenberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Most would agree with you Jim, but you must admit the rebuttals are > fascinating reading when they are authored by absolutely brilliant people > that I have the up most respect for. > > 73 Ross K9COX > > >>>>Intelligent discussion is great, but when one party or another starts > flaming, that party degrades the conversation and his own point.
