I believe that no matter wot GUI look is eventually developed, we will
never satisfy everyone. There will be many who will be over the moon,
and many who will be disappointed. It is going to a difficult task to
satisfy everyone, not to mention all the programming that its going to
take to get a new look GUI
Personally, I'll be satisfied with whatever the guys at Flex and other
contributors come up with, and any improvement on the current "Look"
will be welcomed
Beppe's design could be a starting point, the way forward, a platform
from where those with the know how can develop "skins" from which we can
choose, change, and hopefully satisfy the needs and preferences of all
Flexer's
One shoe will never fit all, fortunately we're dealing with software, so
the shoe can be stretched, and manipulated to suite everyone. I believe
that once a new GUI becomes available, we should see it as milestone in
the development of the SDR, and in time a choice of "skins" will become
a reality, and probably a necessity
Remember, if things don't change, they remain the same !
PowerSDR is changing all the time, and must change, as that is the only
way that it will develop, and ultimately improve the overall capability,
and functionality of the SDR1000, which includes improves the GUI
