I use an HP Z3801A 10 MHz frequency standard which is locked to GPS. If you
do a search on HP Z3801A you will find a lot of information on them. They
require a small amount of conversion for ham use -- I installed two surplus
24 volt laptop power bricks in series inside the empty space in the cabinet
to provide the 48 volts the unit requires. You will also have to make a
slight modification to enable RS-232 connectivity to a PC instead of RS-422.
Instructions for this are also on the web.

Anyone using an external 10 MHz reference clock for the SDR-1000 ? I bought
the SDR-ERK clock kit. But I could not find any documentation for the
modification on the Knowledge Base.
