I just gave it a try - the SAM pll locks up very quickly when the carrier is
off frequency, which is nice.

I haven't had a chance to try it under QRM conditions, though. Will try to
do a test tonight or tomorrow night.

One request - If there are issues with nearby QRM, would it be possible to
modify DttSP so that we can pass the AM demodulator's f_lobound, f_hibound,
and f_bandwid values thru the dll? This would provide us access to these
variables, thus allowing us (if we design the appropriate UI) to modify the
SAM's pll parameters to accomodate QRM.

(I could make this mod myself (with some effort), but it might be nice if it
were part of the official Flex code).

Thanks!

- Jeff, K6JCA

Subject: [Flexradio] SAM not right

Not sure what has happened, however the SAM mode has some problems in
the latest version. I ended up reverting back to 693 tonight. There
is a lot of distortion in the audio, and adjacent SSB and AM audio
plays havoc on signal detection. Soon as I loaded svn693 back up, it
made a world of difference.
