Hi Charles,

I'm not very good at importing and exporting these tables. But it sounds
like somehow PowerSDR is looking at a different db. I use Access to
manipulate the tables. First, make sure PowerSDR is not running. Then open
your Powersdr.mdb database with Access. Delete the BandText table. Close
your Powersdr.mdb. Then (once again in Access) open the powersdr.mdb
database that came from me. Make sure it is in different directory than
your original PowerSDR.mdb. Highlight the BandText table. Choose File -->
Export. Choose your original PowerSDR.mdb file. Once you complete this,
you should have the new BandText table in your PowerSDR.mdb.

It's probably easier to use the DB import utility available on the Flex
radio web site, but I haven't used it so I don't know how it works.

Subject: Re: [Flexradio] BandText table

Hi,

I downloaded Chris' data base with the new Band Text Table and after
renaming the old data base, I used the transfer utility to transfer
it to the PowerSDR.mdb. However, the old values of the band text
table are still in use. I looked in the PowerSDR.mdb using MS Access
and the new table is in place, but it isn't being used. I used the
Wizard and imported the data base again from a backup containing
Chris' database. Still has the old band text data. What is going on?
