Hi José How is your par-cable connected, or are you using the USB adapter Both are known to give problems with laptops that do not have real 5volt but a lower voltage on these connectors. High SWR, do you get allso a very high power output reading? That is in a lot of cases a par-cable problem. Forward and reflected power are measured and transmitted to the computer as serial data over one of the par-port pins. I hope this info helps you a bit 73 peter pa0pvn groeten Peter petervn(a)hetnet.nl <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ; pa0pvn(a)hetnet.nl <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ; pa0pvn(a)gmail.com ; pa0pvn(a)amsat.org .

I followed the FA-66 owner's manual and Flex quick start guide, but no joy, so I am asking for help. When I click Standby button on the SDR, I get a High SWR.message. I verified that the cables are in the right place (Line in, Line out, Firewire - switch to DC in), that the antenna is connected and the SDR on. The Edirol seems correctly installed as I can listen to the demo songs. This is my setup : Toshiba notebook (Core 2 duo, T7200, 2 Go mem, cache 4 Mo) Windows XP Pro, vCom from N8VB I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. TKS in advance es 73 José F5JD _______________________________________________ FlexRadio mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archive Link: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ FlexRadio Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/ FlexRadio Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
