Well I figured out my problem. I had the MON button clicked. As soon as I unclicked it all was well.
By the way, I'm fiddling around with the CAQP now, remote desktop, in my living room, while it's pouring rain outside, windy, and generally awful. I'm all cozy and snug using 1.10.3 and N1MM.
