I have an ATU in my (brand) new 5000A, but I don't think it's working. The Power SDR does not have ATU in the menu at the top of the control panel- the manual says that it's only there when the ATU is installed. When I click on TUN the SWR indicator goes from 50.0:1 to some realistic looking number like 4.5:1 and just stays there. When I click TUN with the TX Meter on Fwd Pwr it indicates 11 watts- my tuner setting is at 10 watts. The TUN button and the MOX button stay on and I have to click TUN to activate the radio. I don't hear anything when TUN is active although I wear hearing aids and don't hear high pitched sounds very well, but on the 1000 tuner I could hear it very clearly.
I'm running 1.10.3 and it seems to be working fine. Everything looks ok on the ATU and the 7.5 and 30 amp fuses are good. What do I need to do?
