Hi All I am running F5KC under PowerSDR v1.16.1 and Driver 3.2.0 build 1556, Firmware 1.3.0.0, SR 96K, B 2048 TRX (30K), RFIO (34C), RX2(33C) and an analog 13.8V PS GSV 3000 DIAMOND, all is well grounded and RF-filtered.
Even under direct 50 Ohm termination on RX1-in, RX2-in, or RX2-RX2Tap, as well as on Ant1/2/3 the RX spectrum scope baselines (Zoom=0.5) seem randomly to vary between about -135 and -120dBm (some ripple) depending on the HAM band selected. It looks in some cases like a variation with two maxima about 60 KHz apart, not very stabile. Mode and Filter BW, Peak and Avg do not seem to matter, but the preamp on does mostly improve the flatness. RX1 and RX2 (VFO Sync/ Lock / separate no change)do not show the same effects for the same settings. Out of curiosity, well ok the effect is very low in level, I would like to know the cause. Do other FLexers see the same effects? Any ideas or speculations why?
