I'd just like to thank everyone who took the time to reply to my post and
answer my questions. Your responses were very helpful.
I'd especially like to thank a Flex owner here in the Dallas area that
spent several hours Saturday afternoon demonstrating his 5000A and
PowerSDR. To say I was impressed would be an understatement! I won't
mention him by name since he replied off list.
I've since spoken to Matt and others at Flex Radio and they've all been
very patient answering my questions.
I talked to Matt again yesterday afternoon and placed an order for a
5000A. I'm still trying to decide if I need the second receiver. If I
get it I plan to use my unused multiband vertical as diversity antenna.
The noise reduction capabilities that I've seen are incredible!
Anyway, thanks to everyone again. Now the wait begins.
