I just don't get all this kvetching about knobs. No one really cares. There are at least 5 possibly more knobs you can buy for this radio. I expect in the v2.0 software the ability to use a MIDI surface for control and dozens of knobs will be included.
Woodbox puts out a knob that is multifunctional functional and does not require focus and doesn't cost anymore than a good code key or a high ende MIC and if that's what blows your ham radio skirt up then plunk down the dough and purchase the experience you desire.
