OJ0J, Market Reef, 0250 UTC 7009 kHz. Good pileup going, working US
stations.

1. Lots of thunderstorm static, so I turn on NB and NB2. That helps a
LOT.

2. Signal is -100 dBm with noise at -115 dBm with RX Gain on PRE. An
easy copy even with the static.

3. A LID starts tuning up on the DX. I turn on the ANF, no more LID!

4. I watch the pattern, find an opening, and call. BAM! 100 watts
and my vertical and I am IN THERE. Lots of other stations calling and
calling and not listening. I can SEE how he is responding. I can OBSERVE
the pattern. SEE IT, HEAR IT, WORK IT.

I love this technology!
