Dave, I use a Lenovo/IBM T60 Thinkpad with SIIG firewire card. CPU utilization runs about 30% and dpc averages about 45 with no peaks over 700 or so. Works just fine with either my 5000 or 3000. This is also the laptop that Dudley uses.
