Mike: XP does not do this. Vista and Windows 7 do it. MicroSoft knows about it, and is working on it.
Move the USB buffer slider towards "Conservative." (Setup/General/Options) to reduce the peaking. Hint: You need to stop PowerSDR before the slider can be moved.
