Not being sure of your circumstances or programs on your computer but here
goes.

Are you running VSP Manager or COM-0-COM on your installation?

If you are running either of these two COM port programs then this may be
where your COM ports are coming from and are required if you run DDUTIL or
more then one Digital / Logger program using PowerSDR that require COM
Ports.

What do these COM ports show in the Windows Device manager?
If this shows "ELTIMA Virtual Serial Port" then it's VSP Manager and you can
run VSPMgr to uninstall these COM ports.

I don't remember what COM-0-COM ports label there VCOM ports as but it
should say "Virtual Serial Port" in which case you would use COM-0-COM to
uninstall those COM ports.

If either of these are the case you will have that program installed on your
PC.

The other options are USB to Serial Port Hardware devices which will go away
as soon as you unplug the USB Connector from the computer.

BE CAREFUL when you start un-installing these devices and make sure some
your equipment peripherals and other software doesn't require these to talk
to the FLEX.

Subject: [Flexradio] Serial Ports

I have several "comm ports" that windows says are in use but nothing shows
as connected to them. I am running W7 64 bit. Looking for some input on how
I can release these ports to be used by other programs?

Thanks Joe N7QPP
