I have PowerSDR (now at 2.0.22) set up the way I like it on my desktop machine (3.4GHz quad-core, Win7 Pro). In the event of a power outage, I could still run my 5K from batteries, but I would have to use my notebook computer (ThinkPad T61, 2.4GHz dual-core, XP Pro) instead of the desktop. Would it be OK to copy the database from the desktop machine to the notebook to avoid having to customize everything again? Yes, I know I would have to change one or two settings (e.g., buffer size and sampling rate) but that would be preferable to starting from scratch.
