One thing I would like to comment on a Parallel Port on the newer computers.
Some mother boards actually have a Parallel port on them but NO Cable / DB25
connector output to the case.

I have 3 different computers that have this and I found some cables from
"cables to go" that plug right into the MB and mounts to the computer case
giving me a standard DB-25 Parallel Port.

You can look in your Hardware and see if you see in the Device Manager (COM
& LPT) a "Printer Port (LPT1)" then chances are YOU HAVE a Parallel port
already.

Now you want to pop the case and look and see if you have Pin's in your
motherboard where the "LPT" is located if you do then your ALL set, just
order up a Cable from your Mother board manufacture or Possible "Cables to
Go" Plug it in, Mount the DB25 in the back of the case and your done.

Hope this helps some one out.

Subject: [Flexradio] Parallel Port for F3K

My computer does not have a parallel port which I need to get the band
information out to antenna and amplifier switches. I need ABCD info to come
out of the computer when I use my 3K. Has anyone had any luck with this
device?:

I could purchase a parallel port card, but the last one I got did not work,
so I am asking before purchasing anything this time.
