Ok, thought I'd do some experimenting with the new FM enhancements. I LOVE the idea of being able to have my local repeater on RX2 while scanning around HF on VFO A. So I set RX2 to FM, 2m (I've got the VU module), I hear the FM white noise and the HF white noise. So far, so good. Then I turn the squelch up on RX2 to take out the FM white noise and the white noise goes away but the HF side start to frag the audio. I turn the squelch down, white noise is back but the audio is fine again.
I also noticed the same CPU spike when activating squelch that has been mentioned here already. Can someone else with a similar rig configuration try this out? I just want to find out if it's me (my computer) or if it's a bug. Thanks! P.Mc.
